Religious Education Teacher

Job Description

Zest Education are seeking a Religious Education Teacher to join an excellent secondary school in the Bromsgrove area. The school is part of a Multi-Academy Trust and offers a supportive and stimulating environment for both staff and students. This is a full time role where planning and marking is required. The role is due to commence in September 2024 and will run for a minimum of one term.

Role and Responsibilities:

– Plan and deliver engaging Religious Education lessons to KS3 and KS4
– Create a positive learning environment that enables students to achieve their full potential
– Assess and provide constructive feedback to students
– Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and school community
– Participate in school events and activities as required

Requirements:

– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
– Experience teaching Religious Education at secondary level
– Strong subject knowledge and a passion for education
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to plan and assess effectively

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
