Zest Education are currently seeking a full-time RE Teacher to join a Secondary School located in the Kings Heath area. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Religious Education to students, along with other humanities subjects as required. The role is due to commence in May 2024 and is expected to run until the end of the academic year.


– Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in religious education and other humanities subjects
– Support the spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development of students
– Assess and evaluate students’ progress and provide timely feedback
– Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
– Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
– Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities


– Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
– Experience in teaching Religious Education and/or Humanities subjects
– Knowledge of the national curriculum and current educational policies
– Strong communication and classroom management skills
– Ability to engage and motivate students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
– Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
– Willingness to contribute to the wider school community
