Science Teacher

Job Description

A school in Bournville are looking for a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher to join their team full time in January 2026. They will teach the broad science curriculum to KS3 and KS4 (this includes, chemistry, biology and physics) and would have the opportunity to teach their specialty at KS5 level.

The school is a popular choice in the Bournville area and has close ties with the local community. They are continually working to improve for both staff and pupils, ensuring that their curriculum is engaging and inclusive so that all children, no matter their needs and abilities, can succeed. They are extremely supportive and work to maintain an inclusive ethos across all areas of the secondary school.

You should have a passion for teaching and believe in sharing best practices to inspire and motivate others. You must hold a valid UK QTS and want to be part of a developing team that works together to strive. It is essential that you are adaptable and resourceful with experience teaching across all key stages; being able to deliver high quality lessons, being able to make good, professional relationships with both staff and pupils will be key within this role.
