Zest Education is excited to collaborate with a highly regarded school in Telford that has received a ‘Good’ rating from Ofsted. The school is currently seeking a Science teacher to start September 2024 in a full-time role.

The school are looking for a candidate passionate about teaching young minds and looking to join a supportive Science department.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
– A UK teaching qualification such as a PGCE, or an equivalent, resulting in QTS or QTLS certification.
– A genuine passion for Science and comprehensive subject knowledge spanning KS3 and KS4 (knowledge of KS5 would be advantageous but not essential).
– A team-oriented mindset and a desire to work within a supportive team environment.
– Proficiency in planning, marking, and delivering high-quality lessons (planning and marking only required for short/long term placements).
– Strong classroom management skills and the ability to manage student behaviour effectively.

Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
