Zest Education is proud to be recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant on behalf of a fantastic primary school in Burton. This is a fixed-term opportunity until July 2026, ideal for a motivated, caring, and dedicated Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs.

The Role

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support whole-class learning within the classroom

  • Provide targeted support to children in small groups and on a 1:1 basis

  • Work closely with teaching staff to ensure learning is inclusive, engaging, and accessible

  • Help pupils develop confidence, independence, and resilience

  • Contribute to a positive, nurturing, and supportive learning environment

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
