Salary: £89-£100/day

Zest Education is recruiting a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to work full-time in a Year 3 class at a mainstream primary school in Tamworth. This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting children with additional needs who wants to make a real impact on pupils’ learning and development.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils with SEND in a Year 3 class

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons

  • Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development

  • Help create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

  • Work closely with teachers and school staff to implement individual support plans


Requirements

  • Previous experience as a SEND Teaching Assistant or supporting pupils with additional needs

  • Understanding of strategies to support pupils with SEND in mainstream classrooms

  • Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills

  • Ability to work full-time consistently for continuity and support
