Location: Tamworth

Salary: £89-£100/day
Zest Education is recruiting a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to work full-time in a Year 3 class at a mainstream primary school in Tamworth. This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting children with additional needs who wants to make a real impact on pupils’ learning and development.
Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils with SEND in a Year 3 class
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
Help create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
Work closely with teachers and school staff to implement individual support plans
Previous experience as a SEND Teaching Assistant or supporting pupils with additional needs
Understanding of strategies to support pupils with SEND in mainstream classrooms
Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills
Ability to work full-time consistently for continuity and support
Full-time SEND Teaching Assistant role in a supportive mainstream school

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
