SEND Teaching Assistant – Cannock

Start Date: After the Easter Holidays
Full‑Time, Term‑Time Only

Do you have experience supporting pupils with SEND or a strong desire to develop your skills in a specialist setting? We are recruiting a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a well‑established SEN school in the Cannock area, offering full‑week availability.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is caring, adaptable and committed to helping children achieve their full potential.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support students with a range of special educational needs (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD and complex learning needs).
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and therapists to deliver tailored learning plans.
  • Assist pupils with classroom tasks, personal care (if required) and emotional regulation.
  • Create a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
  • Promote independence, engagement and confidence in all pupils.

  • Experience working with children or young people (SEND experience is desirable but not essential).

  • Full‑week availability from after the Easter holidays.
