Zest Education are seeking a Teacher of Biology to join a successful science department at a secondary school in the Bromsgrove area. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching up to KS5 and be able to plan and mark lessons effectively. Strong classroom management skills are essential for this role. The role is due to commence in September 2024 and is expected to run for the full academic year.
– Teach Biology/Science up to KS5 level
– Plan engaging and interactive lessons
– Mark student work and provide constructive feedback
– Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
– Manage student behaviour effectively in the classroom
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
– Experience teaching Biology at the secondary level
– Ability to teach up to KS5
– Strong classroom management skills
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
