Zest Education are looking to recruit an experienced Teacher of English for a secondary school in the Castle Bromwich area. This is a full-time time where the successful candidate will be responsible for teaching the English curriculum across KS3 and KS4. Planning and marking will able be required. The role is due to commence in April 2024 and will run until the end of the academic year.


– Plan and deliver engaging lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
– Create and implement effective teaching strategies to support student learning
– Assess and mark student work to provide constructive feedback
– Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and schemes of work
– Monitor and track student progress, providing support and interventions as needed
– Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required


– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
– Experience teaching English at secondary level
– Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 English curriculum
– Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Organisational skills and ability to effectively manage workload
– Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement
