Teacher of Spanish

Job Description

Zest Education are looking for a Teacher of Spanish to join a secondary school in the Chelmsley Wood area on a full-time basis. The role will involve planning and delivering engaging Spanish lessons to students across KS3 and KS4. In addition, marking student work and providing feedback will be a crucial part of the role. This is a full time role and is due to commence as soon as possible. The role is expected to run for one term, with possibility of further extension.

Responsibilities:

– Plan and deliver effective Spanish lessons in line with curriculum objectives
– Create engaging and interactive activities to promote language learning
– Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
– Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Spanish language program
– Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required

Requirements:

– Fluent in Spanish with strong communication skills
– Relevant teaching qualification or experience
– Experience in teaching Spanish to students of different ages and levels
– Ability to plan and deliver effective lessons
– Strong organisational and time management skills

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
