About the Role

Zest Education is recruiting enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants (TAs) to support a reputable secondary school in the Dudley area. This school is seeking reliable, proactive individuals who can make a real difference in the classroom and contribute to a positive learning environment.

The role is temporary, offering flexibility for those looking to gain school experience, transition into education, or secure steady work throughout the academic year. Typical hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm.

What You Will Do

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils during lessons and help keep them engaged
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and essential learning skills
  • Assist with preparing and organising classroom resources
  • Work 1:1, with small groups, or across year groups depending on need

We’re seeking individuals who are:

  • Confident, friendly, and approachable
  • Adaptable across different subjects and year groups
  • Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Proactive, motivated, and passionate about supporting young people

To be considered, you must have:

🎓 NVQ Level 2 (or above) in a relevant subject
OR
📅 At least 20 days’ experience supporting children or young people in the last two years
