Teaching Assistant – KS3/KS4

Job Description

Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic individual looking for a rewarding opportunity in education? A flourishing secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their team.

As a Teaching Assistant at the school, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students by supporting their learning journey. Your responsibilities will include supervising children, managing behaviors, assisting teachers in delivering lessons, working with students on a one-to-one basis, and creating a positive learning environment.

The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ Level 2 qualification (or above) in a relevant subject or have a minimum of 20 days of recent experience working with children or young adults. The role will include working with students in KS3 and KS4, so adaptability is a must. You will need the ability to foster a positive learning environment for students, who you will inspire to have an energetic attitude towards their lessons.  If that sounds like you, then we want to hear from you.

In return, the school offers a welcoming environment with friendly and supportive staff members, flexibility in working days and hours so that you can prioritise a work-life balance, competitive pay based on experience, an immediate start with possible extension opportunities, and access to great school facilities. Conveniently located and easily accessible by public transport routes, this is a chance to be part of a vibrant educational community where your contributions will be valued and appreciated.

If you are ready to take on the challenge and make a difference, apply now to join the Secondary School as a Teaching Assistant in Stoke-on-Trent.
