Zest Education are seeking a full time Teaching Assistant to join a Secondary School in the Dudley area. This role is due to commence in April 2024 and will run until the end of the academic year.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support the teacher in delivering lesson plans and ensuring that all students are engaged and actively participating in class. You will also work with individual students, providing them with one-on-one guidance and support to help them overcome any challenges they may be facing.
Your duties may include:
– Assisting students with their classwork assignments
– Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers
– Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
– Supporting students with personal care needs, if required
– Managing behaviour in the classroom and implementing appropriate strategies for students who require additional support
It is essential that you have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be working closely with students and teachers. Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting is desirable.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
