Teaching Assistant – Stoke
Zest Education are recruiting a full time Teaching Assistant for a long-term role in Stoke to start after the Easter half term to continue until the end of the academic year.
This is a primary special educational needs school which caters for students from the age of 5-11 who have a wide range of special educational needs including profound, severe, and moderate learning disabilities. The successful candidate must have experience supporting individuals with SEND.
The role will be working within classes with no more than nine pupils and be heavily focused on teaching the pupils life skills to encourage them to be as independent as possible. You will be passionate towards every pupil to empower them to achieve and reach their full potential.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
