Zest Education are working closely with a friendly and welcoming primary school located just outside of Tamworth, who are seeking a dedicated General Teaching Assistant to join their Key Stage 1 team after October half term.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting children’s learning in a nurturing and engaging environment. The role will be based within a Year 1/2 class, providing general classroom support to the teacher and pupils throughout the morning sessions.
Provide general support across the classroom, including small group and one-to-one assistance.
Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Support pupils with their literacy, numeracy, and social development.
Work collaboratively with the class teacher and wider school staff.
Have experience working with children in a school or similar setting.
Be patient, caring, and enthusiastic about helping young learners thrive.
Demonstrate good communication and teamwork skills.
Be reliable and able to commit to the role on an ongoing basis.
This is a part-time, ongoing position, ideal for someone seeking a rewarding role during school hours.
