Location: North/Northwest London
Pay: £90 – £100 per day
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Start Date: Immediately or with notice
Contract: Temp-to-perm with full training provided

Zest Education is working in partnership with a specialist SEN school in North/Northwest London that caters for students aged 9 to 16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

We’re currently recruiting for a Trainee Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team on a full-time basis.

  • Supporting young people in the classroom and around school

  • Helping students access their learning and manage emotions throughout the day

  • Working closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals

What we’re looking for:

  • A confident, caring and consistent presence – someone who young people can look up to

  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage challenging behaviours positively

  • A genuine interest in special education and supporting students with additional needs

  • Availability for full-time work, with a long-term commitment in mind

What you’ll receive:

  • Full training and ongoing professional development

  • Supportive working environment with experienced colleagues

  • A route to a permanent position for the right candidate

  • Daily pay of £90 – £100, paid weekly
