Year 1 Class Teacher – Bromsgrove Area

Zest Education is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Year 1 Class Teacher to join a welcoming and vibrant primary school community in the Bromsgrove area. This full-time Y1 class teacher role offers the opportunity to work with a delightful, well-behaved class of 28 eager learners in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
We’re seeking a teacher who has a solid understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum, excellent classroom management skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons. You’ll be someone who works well as part of a team and brings patience, creativity, and compassion into the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
Carry out ongoing assessments and maintain accurate records of pupil progress
Write detailed reports and contribute to parents’ evenings and staff meetings
Collaborate with colleagues to share ideas and best practice
Foster a positive learning environment where every child can thrive
What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine passion for teaching
The ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
