Year 1 Class Teacher – Bromsgrove Area
Full-time position | Start date: ASAP

Zest Education is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Year 1 Class Teacher to join a welcoming and vibrant primary school community in the Bromsgrove area. This full-time Y1 class teacher role offers the opportunity to work with a delightful, well-behaved class of 28 eager learners in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

We’re seeking a teacher who has a solid understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum, excellent classroom management skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons. You’ll be someone who works well as part of a team and brings patience, creativity, and compassion into the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum

  • Carry out ongoing assessments and maintain accurate records of pupil progress

  • Write detailed reports and contribute to parents’ evenings and staff meetings

  • Collaborate with colleagues to share ideas and best practice

  • Foster a positive learning environment where every child can thrive

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum

  • A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine passion for teaching

  • The ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
