Are you passionate about education and making a positive impact on young learners’ lives? Zest Education, an award-winning agency in the Midlands, is currently seeking a dedicated full-time Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant Y1 class at a first school in Redditch.
Starting from September 2025, this exciting opportunity offers a long-term position for the entire academic year. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the class teacher, assisting children with additional needs, and performing general TA duties such as resource preparation and class display organisation.
In addition to classroom responsibilities, you will participate in play/lunchtime duties on a rotating schedule and attend staff meetings. The ideal candidate for this role must hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification in a relevant childcare field and possess prior experience working with the EYFS and KS1 curriculum.
To excel in this position, you should be well-organized, confident, and able to build strong relationships with colleagues and students. A solid work ethic, a deep understanding of safeguarding principles, and the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team are essential qualities for success in this role.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
