Part-Time Y3 Class Teacher – Northfield, Birmingham | Jan 2026 Start | Ideal for ECTs and Experienced Teachers
Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher looking for a part-time opportunity in a friendly and supportive Birmingham primary school?

This is a job share position starting in January 2026, working three days per week until the end of the summer term — ideal for teachers who value work-life balance while still making a meaningful impact in the classroom.
About the Role
As a Year 3 Teacher, you’ll play a key role in inspiring and supporting pupils as they continue their Key Stage 2 journey. Working collaboratively with your job share partner, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons that spark curiosity and enthusiasm for learning
Support individual learning needs and promote positive behaviour in line with school policies
Maintain effective communication with parents, colleagues, and school leaders
Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom culture where every child can thrive
You’ll have access to modern teaching resources, interactive technology, and extensive outdoor learning areas — giving you the tools to deliver dynamic lessons that bring learning to life.

Who We’re Looking For
This role is open to both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are eager to gain valuable classroom experience in a supportive environment.
You should have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an ECT working towards completion
A solid understanding of the KS2 curriculum (particularly Year 3)
A proactive, flexible approach and a commitment to high standards
Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
A passion for fostering a love of learning and building confidence in young pupils

Position: Year 3 Class Teacher (Part-Time, Job Share)
Location: Northfield, Birmingham
Schedule: 3 days per week (Monday–Friday flexibility, Term Time Only)
