Year 1 Class Teacher

This schools aim is for all children to be given every opportunity to achieve their full potential. They take pride in making the curriculum as exciting as possible to achieve the highest standards so someone creative is essential. It will be your job to set high standards of behaviour expectations in line with what the school promote and encourage children to be their best possible self.

This role will include:

• Delivering lessons in line with the British curriculum whilst making them engaging,
• Asses the students progress and report where necessary,
• Create a positive and safe environment for children to learn,
• Lead by example in line with the schools’ values and expectations to bring the best out of the students.

The requirements for this role include:

• You must hold a Qualified Teaching Status and relevant experience in a primary school setting,
• An enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to get one,
• An understanding of the British curriculum,
• Have great communication skills,
• Have a genuine passion for working with children and their progression.

The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
