Zest Education is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming and high-achieving primary school in Lichfield.
This is a full-time teaching role to start after February half term and continue until the end of the academic year.
As a Year 1 Class Teacher, you will take on a full class of 19 pupils in a friendly and supportive mainstream setting.
The role requires a confident, creative, and dedicated primary teacher who can plan engaging lessons, inspire pupils, and contribute positively to the school community.
You’ll be working in a warm and inclusive environment where children are encouraged to explore, achieve, and enjoy their learning every day.
Plan and deliver exciting and inclusive lessons across the Year 1 curriculum.
Create a positive, engaging classroom environment that supports every child’s learning.
Assess, track, and report on pupil progress regularly.
Work collaboratively with other teachers and teaching assistants to support the needs of all learners.
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
Experience working in Key Stage 1 (KS1) or Early Years preferred.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Passion for education and a commitment to pupil success.
Ability to work full time and deliver consistent, high-quality teaching.
