Zest are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join a dedicated team in a lovely school in Tamworth, starting in January 2023 for at least two academic terms. As a Year 1 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in laying the foundation for our students’ educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the curriculum objectives and cater to the diverse needs of the students.
– Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel safe, supported, and motivated to learn.
– Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and implementing appropriate interventions when necessary.
– Collaborate with fellow teachers and support staff to develop holistic approaches to student development.
– Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, keeping them informed about their child’s progress and addressing any concerns.

Requirements:
– Qualified teacher status with relevant experience in teaching Year 1 students.
– A strong understanding of the Year 1 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
– An unwavering commitment to fostering a love for learning and helping students achieve their full potential.
– The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the school’s ethos.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
