Zest Education is collaborating with a reputable school in Rowley Regis, currently seeking a dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a stimulating learning environment for young learners, fostering their academic and social development.

The successful candidate within this position should:
– Qualified teacher status (QTS)
– Experience or knowledge of the Year 1 curriculum
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to create engaging lesson plans tailored to individual student needs
– Commitment to ongoing professional development
– Creativity and enthusiasm for teaching young children
Responsibilities of the Year 1 Teacher role include:
– Plan and deliver lessons that align with the national curriculum
– Assess student progress and provide feedback to both students and parents
– Create a safe and inclusive learning environment
– Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning and well-being
– Participate in school events and professional development opportunities

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
