Zest Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 1 Teacher to join a school in Uttoxeter, offering a fantastic learning environment for both students and staff. This exciting role is set to commence in April, running until the end of the academic year with the potential for extension.
Key responsibilities:
– Planning and delivering engaging lessons to a Year 1 class
– Leading learning activities and promoting student participation
– Marking work and monitoring pupil progress
– Ensuring all pupils are included in the learning process
– Supporting students and striving for their academic success
Ideal candidate requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
– Previous teaching experience
– Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures
– Effective behaviour management skills
– Flexibility and willingness to support the school community
– A commitment to helping all children reach their full potential

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
