Zest Education are working with a reputable primary school nestled on the outskirts of Handsworth, who is currently seeking a passionate Year 1 teacher to become a valued member of their warm and welcoming team. The role is to start in September 2024 and will be on a part time basis. The successful candidate must be able to work 3 consecutive days each week.

As a two-form entry school, the school is dedicated to fostering a collaborative environment that nurtures strong connections between the school, families, and the local community. This ensures that every child is provided with an inclusive and supportive educational experience, setting them on the path to success.

The ideal candidate for this position should possess a genuine enthusiasm for teaching young learners, demonstrate effective communication skills, and be committed to creating engaging and stimulating learning opportunities for students. You must also be a dedicated educator who values building strong relationships with both students and other members of staff.

To be considered for this position, you must hold a valid QTS. Both experienced teachers and ECT’s are advised to apply for this position.

Pay will start from £130 a day depending on references and experience.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
