Year 2 Class Teacher

Job Description

Zest Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 2 Class Teacher to join a team at a well-established 2 form entry school in Tamworth. The position is full-time and available to start as soon as possible for a minimum of one term.

Responsibilities:

– Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and ethos

– Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students

– Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support their development

– Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the success of the year group and school community

– Communicate effectively with parents and carers to provide updates on students’ progress

Requirements:

– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

– Minimum of 90 days experience teaching in a primary school setting

– Experience teaching in Year 2 is desirable but not essential

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills

– Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students

– Commitment to creating a positive and supportive learning environment

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
