Zest education are working with a Primary School just outside Bordesley Green who is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 class teacher to join the team on a full-time basis, starting as soon as possible.
As a Year 2 class teacher at our school, you will play a key role in nurturing and educating our students, helping them reach their full potential. We are looking for a committed individual who is creative, patient, and able to inspire and motivate young learners.
Key responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the needs of all students
– Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
– Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
– Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
– Participate in school events and extracurricular activities
Requirements:
– Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
– Experience teaching in a primary school setting, particularly Year 2
– Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
