We are exclusively recruiting for a Year 2 teacher to join a good rated primary school in Sparkbrook, Birmingham for a full-time role. The position will be working for the full academic year preparing for, and supporting, children through their SAT’s.

The school is a popular primary which has a growing reputation for strong academic results and equipping all pupils with strong life skills. The school aims to have a supportive and inclusive ethos across key stages and benefits from excellent indoor and outdoor facilities.

The successful teacher must:

  • Hold valid UK QTS
  • Be proficient in literacy, numeracy, and ICT
  • Demonstrate a positive work ethic and positive attitude
  • Be able to quickly build professional relationships and thrive as part of a strong team
  • Have the confidence to work on your own initiative
  • Have a flair for teaching and a natural ability to engage with a broad range of pupils
  • Be able to support EAL children and adapt your teaching for the needs of individual children

There is the potential for this to become permanent for the right candidate.

The school supports training and development for all its staff and is continually looking for strong team players to join their team.  Both newly qualified teachers/early careers teachers (NQT/ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this position.
