Zest Education, an award-winning education agency, is delighted to partner with a lovely school in Bordesley Green to fill the position of Year 2 Teacher. This is a full-time role open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of young learners.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that adhere to the national curriculum, assessing student progress, and creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Additionally, the Year 2 Teacher will work collaboratively with colleagues to support the school’s vision and ethos, participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities, and communicate effectively with parents and carers.

Requirements for the Successful Candidate:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently undertaking Initial Teacher Training (ITT) with ECT status
– Experience or strong interest in teaching Year 2 students
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment
– Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
