This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Key Stage 1 teacher looking for a full class teaching role starting after the Easter break, continuing as a maternity cover.
The school is seeking a committed and engaging Year 2 primary teacher who can take full responsibility for a Year 2 class. This role involves full classroom teaching responsibilities, including planning, delivering lessons, assessing progress, and supporting pupils as they approach the end of Key Stage 1.
Key responsibilities include:
Full class teacher responsibilities for a Year 2 class
Planning and delivering engaging Key Stage 1 lessons aligned with the national curriculum
Assessing, marking, and tracking pupil progress
Preparing pupils for the end of Key Stage 1 assessments (KS1 SATs)
Creating a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and other school staff
