English Teacher (Full-Time, September 2025 Start)

Location: Outer London
Salary: MPS to UPS – Outer London (M3 to UPS3 – 4% increase from September 2025)

  • MPS 3: £41,935

  • UPS 3: £56,154


Zest Education is working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in Outer London to recruit an English Teacher for a September 2025 start.

This is a full-time role, though part-time may be considered for the right candidate. The school is well-regarded for its supportive leadership, strong values, and commitment to high standards across the curriculum.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach English across Key Stages 3 to 5

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and effective lessons

  • Support student achievement and progress in line with department targets

Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

  • Has experience teaching English in a secondary setting for at least 3 years

  • Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and enthusiasm
