Job Description

Zest is currently helping a school in Lichfield to recruit an engaging Physics Teacher to join their team in the new academic year. This is a part time role and is for at least one term.

The purposeful, stimulating and broad curriculum takes into consideration the differing needs and abilities of all children, meaning they can all make good progression at their own pace, preparing them for life beyond secondary school.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the subject of Physics and ability to plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across all secondary key stages.

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A strong passion for the subject of Physics and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 would be ideal but isn’t a necessity)
  • A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons (planning and marking only for short/long term placements)
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management.
