Zest Education have been asked to recruit enthusiastic English Teachers for secondary schools in Swadlincote.
We have various positions available to start in September that include day to day, short term and long term roles. Supply work allows you to work around your commitments and gives you the freedom to choose what days you want to work.
The successful applicant will be driven about achieving good results, enthusiastic about the subject and believe in sharing best practices to inspire and motivate others. If this sounds like something you would be interested in or you want to know more about it please get in touch. You should have a passion for teaching and believe in sharing best practices to inspire and motivate others. You must hold a valid UK QTS and work well within a team environment.
The successful candidate must have:
– A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them a QTS or QTLS
– A strong passion for the subject of English and the ability to teach the curriculum across KS3 & KS4
– A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
– The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
– Strong classroom and behaviour management
Rate of pay will vary depending on experience.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
