Zest Education has a close working relationship with a secondary school in Burton on Trent who need a part time (0.6) English Teacher to start in September 2023. This role is due to finish in December.

About the school

This high achieving secondary school have a well-rounded, engaging curriculum that has been carefully curated to ensure all students of all abilities can succeed. They are looking for an encouraging and hardworking English Teacher to join their departmental team.

The successful candidate must have:

  1. A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them a QTS or QTLS
  2. A strong passion for English and the ability to teach the curriculum across KS3 & KS4
  3. A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  4. The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
  5. Strong classroom and behaviour management

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
