We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a secondary school in Stourbridge. This is a full-time role starting September 2025 and will continue until at least December 2025.
As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons to students, helping them develop their reading, writing, and communication skills. You will need to have a strong subject knowledge of English literature and language, as well as the ability to create effective lesson plans that cater to students’ different learning needs.
In addition to teaching, this role will also involve marking students’ work, providing constructive feedback, and assessing their progress. As an English Teacher, you will play a vital role in nurturing students’ love for literature and supporting their academic development.
The successful candidate will have relevant teaching qualifications and experience working with secondary school students. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for this role.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
