English Teacher, South Birmingham

Job Description

We are currently seeking a full-time English Teacher for a secondary school located in the Tyseley area. This is a temporary position starting in April 2024 until July 2024.

As an English Teacher, your main responsibilities will include planning and delivering engaging lessons to secondary school students. You will also be required to assess student work and provide constructive feedback through marking.

The successful candidate will have a strong command of the English language, excellent communication skills, and a passion for teaching.

To be considered for this role, you should possess a relevant teaching qualification and have previous experience teaching English at the secondary school level. An understanding of the national curriculum and the ability to differentiate lessons to accommodate students of varying abilities is crucial.
