Physics Teacher

Job Description

Zest Education are currently seeking an engaging and professional Physics teacher to join a highly successful Science department at a Secondary School in Solihull. This is a full-time role due to commence in April 2024, and is expected to run for the rest of the academic year.

The successful applicant will be required to plan and deliver engaging and innovative lessons to students across KS3 to KS5, teaching both beginner and advanced Physics. They will also be responsible for providing constructive feedback and building a positive and inclusive learning environment for all.

The school prides itself on its supportive, collaborative and exciting working environment and offers the successful candidate career opportunities within a ‘Good’ Ofsted rated school. The school is located just a short distance from the centre of Birmingham, and benefits from easily accessible transport links and onsite parking.

Successful candidates will have:
  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A strong enthusiasm for the subject of Physics and the ability to plan and deliver high quality lessons
  • Excellent knowledge of the KS3 to KS5 curriculum
  • A team ethos and the ability to build strong and professional relationships with both colleagues and pupils
  • Experience in classroom and behaviour management
